The ‘Comet"‘ line was designed in 1971 by Tomas Jelinek for Ikea Sweden. Two bays each consisting of a two drawer chest with a separate shelving unit with adjustable shelves. Bookshelf and drawers have complementary grooves that lightly nest together. Pine and pine veneer with dark brown lacquer drawer fronts and white lacquer interiors.

Very rare to find this line in the US as it was only produced by Ikea in Sweden from 1971-1973. Light signs of use and age to some surfaces and drawer interiors. Great condition and presents well.
